One Kenya Alliance (OKA) to Unveil their Manifesto

The One Kenya Alliance (OKA) is set to unveil its roadmap in the coming General Election as its principals begin a four day retreat at Great Rift Valley Lodge in Naivasha.

Their technical team chaired by Karanja Maina is expected to submit the alliance with proposed manifesto, coalition colors and the symbol that the coalition is going to use.

The four principals Gideon Moi (KANU), Moses Wetangula (FORD-Kenya), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi of ANC joined the alliance’s secretariats who have been meeting at the hotel for the last the days.

KANU chairman Gideon Moi while addressing the Media said that they are going to present their agenda to the public urging their supporters to remain united.

“We have many things to address and am confident that we are going to reach an agreement as a party and as a coalition and we are going to update Kenyans.” Said Gideon.

On his side Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that the meeting is expected to align their agenda towards nation-building.
“This meeting is very important and we are going to review on what our technical team has been preparing.” He said.

Wetangula said the meeting is meant to build confidence between affiliate parties and their members, while working on modalities of working with other parties.

“We intend to expand the party by bringing in other political parties to strengthen OKA as we gain more supporters.” Said Wetangula.

FORD Kenya party leader revealed that ODM boss Raila Odinga will not be attending the meeting despite inviting him.

“Raila is not one of us as for now, we invited other individuals and the response is pleasing, we are looking for supporters and we are hunted too.” Added Wetangula.

Mudavadi said they are working on picking a flag bearer who is going to face off rivals at the general elections.

“We are establishing ourselves and the party and we shall pick a suitable candidate and Kenyans are going to decide come 2022.” Noted Mudavadi.

Speaking separately, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior said the alliance will not reveal its presidential flag bearer saying that the principals will be releasing the OKA manifesto,colours and other technical matters.

Kilonzo added that they expect to hear from the principals what was discussed in the recent meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta at Mombasa state house.
