ELDAMA RAVINE; Florence Jepkoech Kimisoi, from Chepsito in Lembus Perkerra Ward is appealing to Well-Wisher, NGOs and leaders to assist her pay school fees for her children.
Jepkoech a person living with disability after she got burnt while she was one year old and did not receive any medical attention, she says that her one of her 7 children is in Baraton University and other two children are in Kamelilo Day Secondary School.
She says that she can’t do any work since she is using one hand and has raised her children through the help of her neighbors and friends.
“I cannot do any work because one of my is not fit, my neighbors and friends have been bringing us food and helping us.” She said.
She said that she raises the children by herself since her husband has not settled with her noting that they at times go without food.
“My husband comes and goes, we do not get much help from him, my children are helping me with house chores.” She said.
The mother of seven said that her children have not received any County bursaries despite applying.
“They have tried applying but they have not received. The other day a friend told me to try apply CDF bursary of which I am yet to.” She added.
She thanked Lembus Perkera Member of County Assembly (MCA) Paul Serem for constructing her a house.
