East Africa Legislative Assembly(EALA) Member of Parliament Florence Jematia has called on youths in Baringo County to love all kinds of jobs given to them and do them passionately in what she said is going to change their lives positively.
Speaking during a fundraiser at AIC Tugumoi, Eldama Ravine Sub County, Jematia said that the right attitude towards one’s job is going to bring them success.
“I want to tell our youths that no job is better than the other. If you do your work passionately it is going to open more doors and create more opportunities to others.” She said.
She said that unemployment facing many youths in the country can be curbed through self discipline and youths engaging in businesses and farming as a sure way of self employment.
“Our youths are educated but there are no enough job opportunities in the country. I would like to urge them to do farming or open small businesses. Let them use the knowledge they acquired in school to manage their businesses or create self employment. Discipline is very important in any job.” She added.
